Built using the CryEngine, the visuals are stunning. We’re talking lush alien landscapes, textures that feel almost real enough to touch (please don’t lick your TV screen), and lighting effects that’d make even a 10th grader in art class jealous. The monster designs are creative, with enemies that look like they crawled right out of a sci-fi horror film. If anything makes hunting and getting hunted at the same time exciting, it’s the eye-popping graphics. You may even want to take a few selfies as you gleefully stomp through alien quite the looks, your friends might just forget you’ve turned into an emotionless killer.

Evolve is a thrill ride that can easily serve as the perfect couch co-op experience or a group gaming session with friends. Its unique 4v1 gameplay dynamic is as refreshing as a cold can of soda on a hot day—perfect until you realize how often the pressure can push your friends to the edge of rage-quitting.
